Hi, I'm Sonia and I'm a 22 year old industrial design student at Loughborough University. I'm an organised, responsible, and approachable person and I enjoy learning new skills and taking on new roles.
My major project focuses on improving the lives of sufferers of incomplete spinal cord injuries that are unable to void naturally. The aim was to reduce the amount of harmful infections caused by their use of invasive equipment by providing an alternative solution. This project allowed me to explore and develop my skills as a designer, especially in sketchwork, CAD, and 3D prototyping. My main interests lie in the medical device field, but I also consider graphic design, branding, and marketing design big interest points and personal strengths.
