Ryan Narang
Growing up with a strong interest and desired knowledge of business administration, design wasn't always the foreseeable career path for me. However, through the latter stages of adolescence the prospect of studying Product Design became more intriguing and as a result became my chosen academic course. I therefore approach my work with the amalgamation of my acquired design proficiencies and my sustained appreciation of real world business appropriacy.
When recollecting projects completed throughout the course of the degree, whenever the opportunity to explore an independently determined brief arose, I often found myself designing for a medical application. I believe this was found through the inclination to aid any user suffering once being informed of any medical conditions. With regard to the final year project, the brace provides a therapeutic method of pain reduction through heat and vibration treatment and encourages movement within the joint to help reduce stiffness and regain joint capabilities. My eagerness to learn and adapt to new jobs/challenges, ability to innovate and devise unique ways of completing projects and experience in performing to high quality in short time frames are what I presume to be my key attributes when any project is undertaken. As I hold a strong interest in other applications of product design beyond the vast scope of skills developed at the Loughborough Design School, the future entails climbing the corporate ladder whilst attaining further qualifications broadening my professional knowledge and capabilities prior to mustering the aptitude and confidence to undertake an entrepreneurial venture.
