Final year project
Improving the user experience of shirt care for travelling business professionals

Suitcase with shirt steaming functionality
Steam rises through the handle and steams the shirt from the inside. The design was developed to provide a premium experience and minimise time and effort while traveling.

Suitcase interactions
To optimize the effective use of the product, fewer components were used which reduces weight and simplifies manufacture.

User testing
A fully functioning prototype was created to test the quality of steaming. Further prototypes were created to test interactions and develop usability.

I consider myself to be a creative and committed designer with an eye for innovation. Therefore, my designs are often novel and unique. I believe it is important to take risks in design and think outside the box.
During my studies I have developed a well-rounded skill set suitable for industry for example, design research, prototyping, and visual communication. My design process uses a holistic approach and ensures that the users needs are met. I strongly feel that design should be used to make a difference and improve peoples lives. I enjoy problem solving and take pride in the work I do. I aim to further my abilities in design and build on my knowledge with new experiences.
