Penna

Penna, a modern chicken coop, encourages families to spend time outdoors by rearing chickens. Smart technologies make maintenance and protection easier whilst gameification encourages children to partake in their upkeep.

Max Lutkin

As an industrial designer, I am passionate about creating consumer products which are innovative, practical and which provide wonderful experiences for those using them.

During my degree I have developed key design skills, such as sketching and modelling, and have gained a detailed understanding of the user-centred design process. I thrive in a fast-paced environment which challenges me to work efficiently, yet to a high standard, to ensure the final outcome is the best it can be. Demanding problems allow me to exercise my technical knowledge and attention to detail, and I greatly enjoy engaging with new ideas and technology which allow me to further my knowledge on design. Throughout my placement year, I worked in a demanding design and manufacturing environment on projects for leading rail transportation companies. In addition to developing my technical ability, this helped me to understand various manufacturing technologies, product testing and approval processes. Over the next few years, I would like to further my skills in design practise, aiming to work on projects in a collaborative environment which will help me to expand my current skill set.
