My final year design project is a modular product line intended to maximise water collection for allotments and gardens, to be efficiently distributed through smart solar-powered irrigation. Taking inspiration from bromeliad plants, convex hydrophobic leaves direct rainwater and dew droplets to a central tank. A smart controller assesses soil moisture levels via Bluetooth-enabled probes and delivers stored water to thirsty plant zones.
As a Design Intern at Dixons Carphone, I worked on live briefs relating to retail store design, video storyboarding, branding, and packaging design. This provided a platform for me to become a confident designer, with a motivation to pursue a career in graphic design.
