Pressure Sensitive Yoga/Pilates Mat
Pressure Sensitive Yoga/Pilates Mat
A pressure sensitive mat contains a matrix of over 2000 sensors to measure the users weight distribution and feed it back to the user via a connected app.
Pressure Sensitive Mat Detail
The mat is designed to be rolled up for easier storage and can be operated when rolled as the interaction points are at the ends of the electronics casing.
Modular Origami Lamps
A customisable, interactive lighting design inspired by modular Sonobe unit origami. The lamp can be assembled and displayed in multiple ways to create different lighting effects and shadows.
Clothes Peg Storage Solution
A clothes peg storage solution that dispenses pegs from the bottom, reducing strain on the users shoulders compared to conventional peg storage and encouraging sustainable laundry drying methods.
Menstrual Cup Steriliser
A device with a built in filter that removes the need for potable water when sterilising menstrual cups. This product makes reusable menstrual cups more accessible to women in India who often do not have reliable access to disposable menstrual hygiene products or methods to clean reusable products.
Menstrual Cup Steriliser Detail
Non-drinking water can be added through the filter and is turned into steam to quickly and safely sterilise the menstrual cup.

My final project uses pressure sensors embedded within a mat to increase user awareness of weight distribution when practising yoga and Pilates, reducing the risk of injury caused by bad posture and placement.
I am a versatile and enthusiastic designer who enjoys exploring challenging and new design. My skill set ranges from CAD modelling and rendering to sketching and rapid concept generation; I meet tasks head on and relish in the opportunity to learn new techniques and skills to improve both my designs and myself as a designer. After graduating, I would love to take the opportunity to put the skills I have developed over the past four years into practice, working within industry to help create beautiful, functional products that solve problems and enrich lives.
